A Current Beyond

This body of work centers on emotional dissonance in imagined and remembered landscapes. It explores blurring the visual boundary between the real and the surreal, figure and background, positive and negative space. Light acts as a bridge, reflecting on water, a surface whose boundary is distorted like memory.

These works were originally displayed in 2024 at the Williams College Museum of Art in Instead of Sleeping, an exhibition featuring the culminating projects of the senior Studio Art Majors.

In January, 2025, a few of these works were featured in a solo show in North Boulder Art District in January, 2025.

Beyond Current was most recently exhibited in Chelsea, NYC in May, 2026.
